What Parent's are Saying!

It's nice to have our child be surrounded with a lot of positive people! Thank you! Mr. Hamilton is such a great example for our son, Eldrin!

"My daughter joined Tae Kwon Do for a sport, hobby, and as an activity. Well, over the years it has become so much more than that; it is now a way of life. the values this sport has shown her have become invaluable! She has respect for all her teammates ( white belt all the way up to senior black belts ), her attitude is that of a much older child, and her mark at school are in a word -awesome!! Her only desire is to become a straight A student( which is only 1 A away, from a B+), and a pro at Tae Kwon Do. Hong Park Tae Kwon Do College has taught her that discipline will accomplish anything.

I admire that the school feels the children are able to overcome any adversary; anything is possible once you've put your mind to it. I hear only positive remarks from Mr. Hamilton to his students. I can look at my daughter and know she has achieved as a result of this. It was not out of humiliation or fear. All the staff should be very proud of themselves, as it is highly deserved. At anytime you can help a child grow and believe in themselves through positive and rewarding experiences, I truly feel you have had a hand in our future.

"It does not matter how large my house is, the car I drive, nor my bank account, when I can look at my child and know I have made a difference." Hats off to Mr. Hamilton and all the staff at Hong Park Tae Kwon Do College. My daughter will be a part of your school for many, many years to come. You will always know you played a part in any and all her future successes! Thank you.

"Dylan has always wanted to do Tae Kwon Do. So when he was 6 yrs old we started at Hong Park. Dylan spends many hours at the school and even more during the summer holidays.

Dylan has tried other sports like swimming and hockey, but always dedicates most of his time to Tae Kwon Do.

Dylan’s goal is to be a Black Belt so he spends at least 5 classes a week at the dojang plus practicing at home, so he has given up hockey , for at least this year.

Tae Kwon Do has greatly improved Dylan’s self esteem, confidence, concentration, and now has a never give up attitude, plus I feel better knowing he can defend himself if needed. Tae Kwon Do has also enforced a positive attitude + respect for others. I couldn’t ask for a great(er) kid.

Dylan has made many great friends at all ages and belt levels."

"Matthew joined Tae Kwon Do since April 200 and he is dedicated to Tae Kwon Do. He is now black stripe belt and hoping to go for Black Belt very soon. His aim is to strive hard and reach his goal and be a good example to other new students of Tae Kwon Do and school.

This last two years he’s been attending his classes without failure except, when he had to go with his to overseas for a family matter. Otherwise he didn’t miss any classes that scheduled for him, and most of all he didn’t waste any time during summer that he doubled his time to work harder.

He developed his ability in school that he’s getting a lot better grades than before. A lot of teachers were giving Matthew a very good remarks for being a good students academic and behavior wise.

I am very proud of Matthew that I know he’s polite and being respectful to all ages, and best of all really trying hard to succeed."

-NENITA YOUNGMAN

"Adam has been taking tae kwon do at Hong Park for the past 3 ½ years. His first interest showed when he saw his dad going to class. He also wanted to join, but the thought of participating actually intimidated him so much that he only wanted to watch. The instructors had very effective techniques to convince him to try it. Once he did, he was hooked from that moment on. If he could, he would be at the school 7 days a week.

Since he started tae kwon do, he has become even more confident within himself, and is not afraid to jump in and give anything a try. He has also learned to not give up on himself when things get tough, or when he doesn’t succeed the first time.

The rules and regulations of respect, responsibility and patience that the school upholds, Adam has greatly applied to his own life. "Respect your seniors and practice patience and courtesy with your juniors" carries a very strong message in today’s society. No matter what situation Adam finds himself in, or the age of the people he is dealing with, he always aims to maintain these strong values. It’s amazing to watch how Adam reacts when his younger sister Jessica helps him practice his tae kwon do, or his baby brother Noah follows him around trying to copy his big brother’s moves.

While taking tae kwon do, Adam has made many really good friends with similar interests and values. It is wonderful to see him building what could be lifelong friendships while doing something he enjoys so much.

Adam has set goals for himself of attaining his black belt and levels beyond that, and is working very hard to reach his goal. He often talks about being an instructor himself and someday running a tae kwon do school"
